    Thanks so much for the chapter and the translation ! I’ve heard lots of good things about this novel 🙂

    In the paragraph “The person have a lifeless look in his eyes, his hair was messily combed into two buns, and rice straws were disorderly weaved into his hair. His face was tanned from the sun, and there are two thick red scabs on his face like most of the hunters in the region. His messy hair, dirty face, and the scab made it impossible to figure out his original appearance”, I thought Zhou Xiaoxiao was being described but the person seems to be a man (use of “his” instead of “her”). Is it a mistake or is it really someone else and if yes who is it?

    Apart from the Lins, Xiaoxiao has been lucky in the people she meets :’) The Wus are wonderful. I love that Wu Daoquan didn’t think twice about Xiaoxiao being a woman holding a weapon, it’s all about her poor form lol

    It’s sad from the reader’s perspective, but even YXZ’s family’s actions are understandable, and they were as kind about it as they could be.
